Processing method
Turning: In this process, the workpiece rotates while the cutting tool advances parallel to or intersecting with the axis of rotation, thereby producing internal and external cylindrical surfaces, conical surfaces, threaded surfaces, and more. The typical machining accuracy for turning is IT8 to IT7, with surface roughness ranging from 6.3 to 1.6 μm; during precision turning, the accuracy can reach IT6 to IT5, and the surface roughness can be as low as 0.4 to 0.1 μm.
Milling: In this process, the cutting tool rotates while the workpiece remains stationary or is fed forward. By precisely controlling the movement of the cutting tool, parts with complex shapes—such as flat surfaces, concave and convex surfaces, and gears—can be manufactured. Milling typically achieves machining accuracy ranging from IT8 to IT7, with surface roughness values between 6.3 and 1.6 μm.
Drilling: A machining process in which a rotating drill bit cuts into a workpiece to create holes of the desired diameter and depth. Drilling is commonly categorized into various types, including conventional drilling, center drilling, deep-hole drilling, and multi-axis drilling.
Grinding: This process involves gradually cutting or removing material from the surface of a workpiece using abrasive tools (such as grinding wheels) to achieve the desired shape, dimensions, and surface quality. Grinding is commonly used to machine parts that demand high precision and superior surface quality, such as molds, precision mechanical components, and tools.
Boring: A machining process in which a rotating tool is used to cut into an existing hole, achieving precise dimensions and flatness. Boring can be performed manually or via CNC control and is suitable for machining internal circular holes in workpieces.
Planing and slotting: Planing involves using a planer blade to remove material from the surface of a workpiece, thereby achieving the desired flat surface, precise dimensions, and surface finish. Slotting, on the other hand, uses a slotting tool to gradually deepen the cut, creating intricate internal contours.Application fields
